Maureen provides pro bono financial management support to Connor’s Kindness Project as a way to support her grand-nephew Connor and her sister, the organization’s Executive Director, in the meaningful and impactful work they are doing to spread kindness and compassion in the community.

With over 30 years of experience in budget and financial management, Maureen brings a CFO-level perspective grounded in education, clarity, and practical systems that strengthen financial confidence and long-term sustainability. Her work focuses on building and improving budgets, financial reports, and decision-making tools that allow mission-driven organizations to operate efficiently and with confidence.

Her goal in supporting Connor’s Kindness Project is simple: to reduce the stress around financial management so leadership can remain focused on mission, growth, and impact - while ensuring the organization has a strong, transparent financial foundation to support its future.

Maine Association of Nonprofits (MANP)
Bi-monthly meetings, exclusively for MANP members, where coaches/consultants support Maine Nonprofits during informal and conversational meetings with a focus on surfacing questions by offering suggestions, recommended resources/tools, and connections that can help with the issue at hand.

Yoga in Action
Maureen serves as a Finance Committee Member with Yoga in Action, an organization dedicated to ensuring all people have access to the therapeutic benefits of yoga, regardless of social, physical, or financial barriers.

With a professional background that includes previous ownership of a yoga studio and yoga-focused business, as well as experience in yoga training, yoga has long been both a personal and professional cornerstone of Maureen’s life. This lived experience informs her commitment to supporting Yoga in Action’s vision - that all people can connect, transform, heal, and thrive through yoga.

Maureen brings over 30 years of financial and budget management expertise, providing strong fiscal oversight, clear financial reporting, and systems that support sustainability and transparency.
